Formation Design & Build make progress at Wickford Street in London Borough of Tower Hamlets

Formation Design & Build are pleased to announce that we are in the final stages of the second phase of the Wickford Street project for the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

We have completed all the flats, including decorations, joinery, and flooring, with our thorough snagging process currently underway. The common areas are having flooring laid, with final decoration to follow.

The development includes two commercial spaces, for which LBTH has secured internal tenants. They recently visited the site and are extremely excited about moving into their new facilities.

Testing and commissioning have begun, and it is encouraging to have permanent power, heating, and lighting now available in the building.

The site's proximity to a major Network Rail asset has made the construction process challenging. However, our close collaboration with NWR and Formation’s adaptability in meeting their requirements has ensured the successful delivery of the scheme in harmony with our neighbours and stakeholders.

We expect to hand over the building a few weeks ahead of schedule, allowing additional time to complete the BSR process for this 18.5-meter-high building.
