Scope of works.
The Owen Street Cladding Project in Angel, Islington, was a critical refurbishment of an 8-storey residential block. Formation Design and Build Ltd led the project, addressing fire safety concerns by replacing outdated and non-compliant cladding materials. The primary focus was on ensuring compliance with new building regulations, enhancing fire resistance, and improving the building's energy efficiency. This project involved the installation of modern, fire-rated cladding that not only upgraded safety standards but also improved thermal insulation, reducing energy consumption. Additional works included the refurbishment of balconies and the roof with durable, compliant materials, as well as the installation of new fire alarms and fire-rated signage for enhanced safety.
Formation Design and Build Ltd coordinated the works to minimise disruption to residents while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
